SEND family support careers
Our experienced SENDIASS team offer free, confidential and impartial support to parents and carers of children and young people aged between 0 and 25 who have or may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. We also provide independent advice and support directly to young people aged between 16 and 25 who have or may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Young people can access the service in their own right or with the support of their parents.

SENDIASS Co-ordinator
Hours
37.5 hrs per week, 41 weeks direct term time + 165 undirected hours
Salary
£12,769.80 salary already pro-rated to hours worked (£10.91 hourly rate)
Main Responsibilites
This is a varied role providing a quality, professional, effective, and efficient service, being the first point of contact within the SENDIASS team.
You will act as SENDIASS co-ordinator for the service as required by;
- managing enquiries to the service,
- taking detailed notes from families/young people and providing information and advice, signposting families/young people to relevant information and organisations, escalating cases within the service.
- liaising with the local authority, schools and other professionals as required.
- report on a range of factors related to the business as it stands now and grows in the future; keep, maintain and update records for statutory contracts.
Mediation Co-ordinator
Hours
30 hours worked over a 4-day week.
Salary
£17,026.40 per annum
Main Responsibilites
We are seeking a Mediation Co-ordinator to join our service. You will support with the provision of the Together Trust Special Education Needs & Disability (SEND) Mediation and Disagreement Resolution Service (MDRS). The Mediation Co-ordinator is a varied and interesting role and will be the first point of contact for enquiries and referrals to the service.
You will provide mediation advice, take detailed case notes from families/young people, liaise with local authorities, schools, other professionals and mediators in order to arrange meetings.
