What we do
At the Together Trust, we deliver individual care, support and education services across the North West.
Inscape House Vocational College welcomes learners aged 16-19 who would benefit from accessing a smaller post 16 provision specialising in working with learners with ASC and SEMH needs.
We believe that everyone is different, and everyone has individual needs. This is why we offer personalised learning plans and highly differentiated planning to help our learners to fulfil their potential and improve their confidence and self-esteem within a nurturing environment. All learners will have access to a therapy team including speech and language and occupational therapy to support individual needs
There are no formal entry requirements for Level 1 courses as they are designed for those students with little or no qualifications or those who have gaps in their education.
Upon successful completion of a level 1 course learners may progress onto one of our BTEC Level 2 courses.
Alternatively, learners must have a minimum of four or more GCSES at grade 3 and above, or a relevant level 1 qualification to access a level 2 course.
Learners will access a 12–16hrs timetable with the opportunity to study functional English and Maths Entry level 3 to Level 2 (GCSE grade 4 equivalent).
A combination of PSHE and personal development will also be included within the curriculum to support learners with the development of life skills, social skills, and independence skills, to improve confidence and self-esteem.
Learners will also be supported to access work placements and opportunities for employment.
Inscape House Vocational College would benefit learners who have previously struggled to access education and who would thrive within a nurturing setting with a high staff to pupil ratio. Learners will be supported to follow a varied timetable and meet course criteria within an identified timescale inline with BTEC requirements.
