The Together Trust surprises 500 young people and their families this Easter
This year, the Together Trust’s Easter appeal collected over 2,500 chocolate eggs and raised a fantastic £1369 to support 500 young people and their families in the North West.
The initiative couldn't have been successful without the 25 volunteers who lent a hand and generously donated their time, whether it was sorting out the goodies or helping put together our Easter hampers. They came from all over Manchester, including folks from Bupa, Mitie, and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
On 24 March, we welcomed the annual Roughley's bikers Easter egg run, who have been supporting us for over two decades. Decked out in Easter costumes and festive bikes, they made their grand entrance into the Together Trust centre in Cheadle, delivering Easter goodies for our children and young people. It was a day filled with fun, pictures, and tasty treats, lighting up everyone's faces. Following the thrilling Roughley's egg drop, hundreds of Easter treats, craft sets, and toys were provided for the people we support. Beyond the fun and games, the heartwarming support from our hardworking team and the local community turned this event into a success, with a remarkable £1000 raised on the day.
We're thrilled and appreciative of our local community's support over the past 20 years. Our Easter appeal saw a fantastic turnout, and together, we've provided much-needed help to hundreds of vulnerable children, adults, and families this season.
Our next forthcoming major fundraising event is the family-friendly screening of the Eurovision Grand Final on 11 May. We welcome everyone who's eager to contribute to our cause while having a fun-filled evening.
