Together Trust staff celebrate long-standing support from Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Police Trust
On 9 March, staff from the Together Trust were invited to take part in the glamorous Chief Constable’s Spring Ball that took place at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester. The event was aimed at raising funds for the Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Police Trust, an organisation that has helped Together Trust multiple times with funding projects for the people we support.
The Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Police Trust has been a big supporter of the Together Trust by enabling us to create more accessible communities for people in Greater Manchester. In 2022 we decided to throw Manchester’s first accessible fun day – Join Together Festival– for which we received £4000 towards the big launch in 2022 and a follow-up grant of £2,900 for the second edition in 2023. This donation helped us to provide some fantastic activities on the day.
On top of this, we have also received £500 towards the Woodlands garden project. Woodlands is one of our amazing short-breaks homes offering families the chance to rest and recharge their batteries, and a wonderful opportunity for children and young people to make friends, have fun and experience new things.
Together Trust staff were invited to the ball to celebrate our long-standing partnership with the Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Police Trust. The table was gifted to us by Glen Lockett, Head of Income Generation at the Police Trust, and supporter of Together Trust. We were able to network with kind donors attending the ball as well as staff of other charities supported by the Trust, enjoyed a 3-course meal, and listened to the amazing Greater Manchester Police Swing Band. It was a lovely night that reminded everyone of the importance of collaboration in our local Greater Manchester community.
We are incredibly grateful for all the support received from donors, partners, and sponsors of the Greater Manchester High Sheriff’s Police Trust. Your ongoing support means that our charity can put up community projects that make our local area accessible to all.
