Romiley and Marple Lions Club helps children’s home get a garden makeover
Community is at the heart of everything we do at the Together Trust
Meridian, one of our short breaks services has recently received a wonderful £500 donation from the Romiley and Marple Lions’ Club. President Bill Spencer and Treasurer Phil Daniels from Romiley and Marple Lions’ Club were very pleased to present the cheque, see the garden themselves and visit the home. The money will be used to buy more accessible garden furniture for the home. The Lions were very impressed with the facilities and were made to feel very welcome by the staff.
Our homes in the North West are a chance for everybody to rest and recharge their batteries
Meridian is a safe and welcoming home for young people with autism.
Equipped with everything the young people may need, like sensory rooms, low stimulus spaces and an outdoor play area, it is a wonderful opportunity for our residents to make friends, have fun and experience new things.
We’ve put a lot of love into designing our short breaks homes to create warm, friendly and nurturing spaces for the young people we support. With space for up to five children each night, we offer personalised care and plenty of opportunities for children to learn, socialise and play.
