Heartwarming performances light up Together Trust's holiday service

This Tuesday, St Mary's Church in Cheadle hosted the Together Trust's Christmas carol concert. Parents, carers, and staff were moved by touching readings and performances by children and young people from the Together Trust's services.
Led by Rev. George Crowder, the evening began with 'Once In Royal David's City' and included classics like 'Away in a Manger' and 'Silent Night', alongside modern favourites like 'Last Christmas' and 'Jingle Bells'. Children and staff shared prayers and poems, filling the church with holiday spirit.
Kevin Clarke, Registered Manager at Haines House, a residential home for children with autism and learning difficulties, shared:

Inscape Vocational College media students captured the magic on film, while young residents from Haines House spread joy by handing out thoughtful gifts.
Following an inspiring closing speech by Giles Gaddum, Chair of the Board of Trustees, volunteers added to the festive atmosphere by serving mince pies and chocolates donated by Asda in Marple.
Mandy Self, Assistant Manager at Norvent, one of the charity’s care homes for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, says:
Special guests, including Ordsall Councillor and Ceremonial Mayor for the city of Salford - Tanya Burch, the Lord Mayor of Manchester - Councillor Paul Andrews, and the Mayor of Stockport - Councillor Suzanne Wyatt, joined in the celebration, making it a memorable evening.
