Bridge College shine on the football field
Ashleigh Warrington, Pastoral, Learning and Support Manager, has been leading and coaching our brilliant Bridge College football squad.
Ashleigh says about the team,
“The team are doing amazing, I am so proud of the students, I am so honoured to coach them.”
The students involved have worked incredibly hard. They’ve shown their dedication by attending every session each week where they’ve been gaining their football skills and confidence to play at their best.
The Bridge team recently had the thrilling opportunity to travel to Eccles College for a football tournament featuring numerous colleges. We are ecstatic to announce that our fantastic team triumphed in 2 out of the 4 games!
Ashleigh Warrington goes on to say,
“ A huge shout out to Lee who score 6 goals, Obed who score 3, Lewis saved 3 goals. I also wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff team that helped out on the day and we couldn’t have done it without Ali, Sarah, Paige and Peter who drove the group to the tournament.”
This was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, and we couldn't be prouder of our team!
