Join Together Festival 2023
Join Together Festival, the Together Trust's very own family friendly festival is happening on Saturday 1st July. The festival is taking place at the Together Trust campus on Schools Hill in Cheadle and will host activities, lots of different stalls and fun for the whole family!
The Festival will be running 10am-4pm with 10am-11am being quiet hour to create an accessible and enjoyable environment for visitors with additional needs.
You can expect lots of family-friendly fun for everyone! Get ready for lots of food and drink stalls, ponies, animals, glitter, sensory experiences, fairground rides, yoga, story reading, games, live music and many more!

With less than a month to go until Together Trust festival kicks off, here’s sneak peek into all the fun activities. Get ready for:

Food and drink at the festival
Time to meet some of our vendors: from savoury indulgent feasts all the way to sweet treats. This year we're bringing some amazing vendors like:
- Epic Pizza offers freshly made, wood-fired pizzas made with their signature pizza sauce, as well as mouth-watering BBQ
- Juices and Mocktails' [by the family behind the Thirsty Filly] are bringing continental juices (including interesting flavours like peach and rhubarb fizz) and freshly made mocktails.
- Cof Cof Coffee is bringing delicious iced and hot coffees, teas, cans of pop, carton drinks, artisan cakes and pastries, sweets, crisps and chocolate!

It's not a festival without a colourful mix of stalls - expect lots of local handmade products from a variety of small businesses!

Festival entertainment
Join us for an unforgettable experience at the stage area for performances throughout the day from performers like:
- Strawberry Radio is bringing the stage and all the greatest hits to create the fun atmosphere of Join Together Festival you know and love!
- Key of G are a professional father-daughter duo with high quality vocals and harmonies fit for any occasion.
- The Charms are the best new talent from Stockport. A cover band quartet that describe themselves as "goth-indie-rock"!
- Blush Dance are a dance studio in Stockport specialised in aerial hoop, pole fitness, and aerial silks classes. Expect performances and dance demos!
- James from Inscape House School will be making a comback with some amazing songs!
Festival FAQs
How much is a ticket?
An adult ticket is £2
A child ticket is £1
A family ticket is £5 and includes 2 adults and 2 children
All children under 2 go for FREE
Tickets are now available to purchase on our ticket portal!
Do I need to buy my ticket in advance?
Whilst we will be offering people the ability to buy tickets on the door on the day of the festival, we would encourage you to buy your tickets in advance to avoid queues! This also helps us plan ahead and make sure we have everything ready when it comes to crowd management.
What is there to do at Join Together Festival?
We have a lot of family-friendly activities planned for you.
There will be a stage with live entertainment throughout the day including singers, band acts, performances, dances and a radio DJ.
We will have food and drink areas for you to get any refershments needed: from burgers and pizza, cakes and candy floss to fizzy pop. There is also a picnic area where you are welcome to bring blankets and camping chairs and enjoy your own snacks.
If you're looking for entertainment look no further than our confirmed activities like axe throwing, raffles and tombolas, treasure hunts, Trainmaster, darts, soap bubbles, glitter paint, ponies, animal handling and sensory rooms. We want the festival to accessible to as many people as possible so there will be sensory activities for our guests with special needs.
And if you want to support local businesses, we will have a whole variety of stalls selling handmade crafts and products.
What's the schedule?
The festival is open from 10 am to 4pm.
All of the activities will be available throughout the entire schedule. The schedule of stage performances will be released soon.
From 10 am to 11 am we will operate a quiet hour. This means there will be no music or flashing lights to accommodate our guests who dislike them.
What age group is Join Together Festival for?
This is a festival for all ages! A lot of the entertainment is targeted at children, however the whole family can enjoy the day.
Are dogs allowed into the event?
Unfortunately there will be no pets allowed at the festival. We will have multiple animals on the festival grounds like ponies and wild animals that may get disturbed by dogs. For the safety of everyone attending, we kindly ask you to leave your furry friend at home.
However, assistance dogs are permitted.
Will there be food?
Join Together Festival has a variety of food and drink facilities available, there’s something for everyone at this summer’s event. A full list of vendors will be published soon.
Do I need to bring anything?
This is an outdoor event. Please check the weather and bring appropriate clothing, sun block and umbrellas. We will have a few indoor areas you can access in the event of bad weather.
We will also have a picnic area! Folding chairs, blankets, tables are allowed, but please remember to take them with you when you leave!
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking, e-cigarettes or vaping of any kind allowed on the premises.
You will be issued a wristband on entry. If you need to smoke, please exit the festival grounds and re-enter as needed.
Please remember to pick up your litter. Do not leave rubbish outside our premises.
Is the festival cash only?
It is each stall holders decision whether to accept card payments or just cash.
There will be a card machine at the enterance so any tickets bought on the door can be payed for using card.
We advise bringing some cash to ensure you can pay at whichever stall you would like to.
Will there be a photographer?
Filming and photography will take place during Join Together Festival for our records and promotion of the festival. If you don't want to be included in any filming or photography, please discuss this with the photographer themselves when you see them.
